Located in Uis, Namibia, we have helped to resuscitate the town, which has been in decline since the closure of the Uis Tin Mine. From the more than 200 employees once employed by the Uis Tin Mine at the time of its closure in 1990, only 18 where left in the town when Namclay started operations.
We make use of modern technology and knowledgeable people to produce a product that can stand its own against the best in the world today, and at the same time help to resuscitate the town, rehabilitate the mine, create job opportunities and produce a product best suited to local conditions.

Albert Weitz - Main Member
Albert Weitz Senior is a entrepreneur whom has made fast progress in the countries financial sector. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the construction / building sector with an immense knowledge and expertise on building material requirements, for any construction imaginable.
Albert Weitz (Jnr) - Managing Member
Albert Jnr is responsible for the daily management of the factory and manufacturing processes. He is adequately qualified in ceramics and clay brick manufacturing. He acquired his diploma in Ceramic and Clay brick manufacturing from ICE (Institute for Ceramic Education) presented by Cermalab at CSIR, Pretoria and endorsed by the Clay Brick Association.
